Google unveils new forms of payment for AdWords
Google has recently announced new payment options for the AdWords advertising programme in India. Advertisers will now have the power to choose from among a range of payment options to create their Google AdWords account. The new options of payment by cheque, demand draft and net banking offer advertisers more flexibility and convenience and bring a whole new dimension to online advertising and e-commerce in India. Google has tied up with TimesofMoney , a pioneer in payment solutions across the globe, for the electronic payment gateway solution. ''We are proud to partner with Google, to enhance their payment spectrum in India,'' says Avijit Nanda, chief alliance officer, TimesofMoney. ''We hope that more Indian advertisers will be able to grow their business through AdWords by recognizing that Indian businesses prefer to conduct transactions not only by credit cards but also by cheque and electronic funds transfer,'' said Shailesh Rao, MD, Google India. SMEs can pay for their AdWords account by cheque or demand draft, just as easily as they would make payments for electricity, mobile and cable bills. The other form of payment being launched is electronic transfer of funds from a users bank account to their AdWords account.
Google Launches Net-Banking Payment options for Google AdWords Advertisers in India!.
Google has taken a leap into providing safer and convenient payment options for its advertisers. According to contentSutra, Google has widened the payment options for the Google AdWords advertisers in India by introducing Netbanking option for its Indian advertisers. To provide this feature to its advertisers, Google has tied up with DirectPay. This feature is especially a welcome relief for small and medium advertisers, who tend not to carry credit cards. So, now the Indian advertisers have the following options to pay for their Google AdWords accounts:
Cheque.
Demand Draft.
Netbanking.
Via the netbanking option, advertisers will now be able to pay for their Google AdWords account by simply transferring funds from their bank accounts to their AdWords accounts electronically.
